Create Your Own Declaration of Independence

Create Your Own Declaration of Independence

Men and women have to start making their own Declarations of Independence.

I don’t mean in the sense of “I don’t need a man or I don’t need a woman,” (men and women need each other…in relationships or otherwise)…but personally taking responsibility for their own happiness.

You have to get rid of toxic people whose energy is only fueled by their need to mock and ridicule you into failure. That type of person can drain you of needed energy to continue on positively in life.

Be in tune to your own needs to loving your life to the fullest and then there will be no need for you to have to seek validation from someone else.

I try to add to my personal Declaration of Independence on a daily basis…

I look in the mirror and say and start making your declarations.

I declare that…

  • I can’t be broken unless I’m broken spiritually by God…only if God breaks me can the rebuilding be done on solid foundation
  • I can’t be torn down, unless I’m tearing down the bitter walls that I’ve built up because I saw myself as “someone else” may have seen me…as nothing
  • My spirit doesn’t belong to him/her so they can’t break it
  • My body doesn’t belong to him/her so they can’t take it
  • My mind doesn’t belong to him/her so they can’t bind me
  • My heart doesn’t belong to him/her so they CANNOT and WILL NOT dictate my source of happiness

Moving from bitterness to sweetness is a tough journey, but when you come to the realization that you are responsible for your own happiness and your own success in life -whatever that may be- the moving on is easy.

Whether it’s from a bad business relationship, friendship or personal relationship, you have to pick yourself up out of your pity party and start pulling yourself together. No man, no woman, and no-THING… has the authority to block your blessings, so why would you block your own by wallowing in self-pity?
